Explain the ideas, questions, or influences that inform the work, and describe the materials, mediums, and formats that have been used. Include how these elements contribute to the overall narrative, and how visitors will experience the exhibition as they move through the space. If you are an arts organization, please describe the mandate of the organization.

THE CRITERIA FOR APPLYING ARE AS FOLLOWS. ARTISTS MUST:

be based in Alberta (Indoor exhibition requirement only);
be willing to work with our educational department to develop programming relating to your exhibition (indoor/outdoor exhibitions); and
submit your proposal by the annual deadline of July 5.

PLEASE NOTE:

Leighton Art Centre pays CARFAC project fees for exhibitions.
If exhibition artwork is additionally for sale, artists must agree to the following terms
- Consignment is 50% to the artist and 50% to Leighton Art Centre
- Consignment for sold artwork is paid within 60 business days.
All CARFAC and consignment payments are made through our secure online payment platform.
