Guest Services and Gallery Shop Assistant

Location: Leighton Art Centre, Calgary, Alberta (hybrid)
Casual Position: 1 -2 shifts per month, flexible days
Hours: 6 – 8 hour shifts as needed (either 10:00-4:00, 9:30-4:30, 9:00-5:00)
Wage: $18 per hour
Start Date: Aug 31, 2024
Dates Needed: Sept 14, Sept 25, Oct 26, Nov 9 & 10

We are looking for an energetic, flexible, adaptable, and organized person who can successfully navigate diverse responsibilities within our unique organization. The successful candidate should have a background in retail environments and customer service, and an interest in museum studies, art history, and fine art.

Art & Nature Educator

Seasonal, Part-time: January to June, September to December
Schedule: Flexible based on school bookings
Hours: 8:30 AM to 3:30 PM
Wage: $20 / hour

Art & Nature Educators are responsible for leading students through a day of discovery with hands-on experiences in art and nature. The Art & Nature School Program consists of onsite and offsite programming working with students, teachers, and volunteers to deliver a fun and informative school program. The position requires an energetic, self-starter with art, nature, and classroom experience. Portions of the programming will be conducted outdoors, so resilience in all weather is crucial.
