Join the Leighton Art Centre’s virtual museum classroom to learn all about the natural environment of Alberta’s Foothills and create some art too!
Pick just one or two classes, or register for all 5 and save over $12.
Each week, students will join our educators virtually for 45 minutes for exploration, discussion, and a guided art lesson. Recommended for Grades 1-6, but all are welcome!

Classroom bookings for these workshops are available for at-home learners – please email education@leightoncentre.org for more info or to book. $100/class, max 32 students.
Zoom links will be sent out 24 hours prior to classroom start time. You will only receive Zoom links for the session(s) you have registered for. One Zoom link will be sent per class, per order, to the email address you provide when registering. You may use this link on multiple devices, but please do not use it on more devices than the number of students you have paid for.
Each week we will start at 11:15am and finish at 12pm MST. Please join the meeting room at 11:10am so that everyone has a chance to settle and be ready for 11:15am. Please remember to bring your supplies to each class (see below).
Each class we will explore a new art project that ties into that week’s topic. We have tried to create projects that you can easily do at home without having to purchase any materials. We have some optional items on the list but please know that they are optional and NOT mandatory.

Due to the virtual delivery method for this program, we will not be providing any refunds for cancellations, nor allowing any date switches. A refund would only be issued to participants if the class is cancelled by Leighton Art Centre, due to circumstances beyond our control.
