YouthWorks 2026

This exhibition presents the work of artists aged 13 to 18 working across painting, mixed media, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, digital media, and more. Rather than focusing on a single theme, YouthWorks highlights the diversity of young artistic voices developing across our community. Each work reflects an exploration of identity, imagination, place, relationships, or the world around us, demonstrating the power of art as a means of observation, expression, and connection, no matter the age of the artist.

For many participants, this exhibition marks a first experience presenting work in a professional gallery setting. By exhibiting alongside fellow young artists, participants gain the opportunity to develop confidence in their practice while engaging with audiences beyond the classroom or studio.

We are honoured to exhibit the works of 19 artists selected from over 40 submissions and celebrate the talent of local young artists. This exhibition includes works by Angelee, Minky Atkinson, Jamie B., Bailey Bruinsma, Maura Busby, Maddie Ethier, Josie Hoar, Eve Hofer, Summer M. Hanson, Jeanne, Jennesa, Claire Kim, L. K., Sophia Mahallati, Claire Mossing, Neha, Pavjot, Liubov Seletska, and Adam St. Cyr.

YouthWorks affirms a commitment to nurturing the next generation of artists. The exhibition invites visitors to encounter fresh perspectives, celebrate emerging talent, and recognize that artistic practice is defined not by age, but by curiosity and the courage to create.
