Description: Using meditation and therapeutic creative processes, we will discuss and experience the benefits of integrating the right and left hemispheres of the brain; explore artistic techniques to regulate the nervous system; support mental and emotional wellbeing; build inner resiliency against stress, anxiety and depression, connect to self in a way that fosters self-acceptance and love, and have a whole lot of fun! You will leave feeling full, connected and self-empowered to face life full on. No creative or physical expertise is needed, as this is a workshop for all abilities with a focus on self-care for mind, body and soul.
Audience: Ages 14+

Supplies: Something to sit on (yoga mat, blanket), Water, Blanket/pillow, Container for tea, journal for reflections. Please wear comfortable clothing. All artistic materials included in ticket price.

Instructor Biography: Charmaine Husum RTC, DKATI, CT, is an internationally recognized Artist, Art Therapist, Registered Therapeutic Counsellor and Kundalini Yoga teacher trained in a variety of somatic processes. Specializing in working with Trauma and symptoms of PTSD, C-PTSD, depression, anxiety, suicidality, addiction and other mental health symptoms; her Art Therapy and Counselling practice, Centre of the Heart supports clients in person and online. Charmaine can often be seen at markets around town sharing her own art which has a focus on Sacred Geometry, Spirituality and the benefits of Art Therapy.
