Open heART is a workshop to help ignite the creativity that lives in all of us. We will create connections with one another and practice exercising vulnerability. An exploration of the nature that surrounds will inspire a play of multi-media art and help create art based on prompt questions + feelings arising throughout the day.
This is not an art workshop based on increasing technical art skills! This is an expressive arts workshop and is process-based rather than product-based.
The open heART workshops are all unique, you may wish to sign up for more than one date.
Audience: No experience needed! This workshop is suitable for anyone that identifies as a woman even if you don’t think you are creative at all.
Supplies:
Registration cost: $ 67.16

Artist/ Instructor Biography: Laur is a self-taught mixed media artist and loves to create fun pieces that will indulge your inner child + remind you that magic is real. She dabbles in lots of different art forms such as painting, ceramics, collage and her latest endeavour- hand poke tattooing!
Her artistic practice is very much rooted in the idea and concept that art should be made without rules, restrictions and regulations. She strongly believes in the healing power that art has and uses her practice for self-expression.
When Laur isn’t tattooing or working on other various creative projects she enjoys spending time cuddling her cats, camping, and drinking good beer.
