Plein Air painting is SO much fun! But for those who find the idea intimidating, this workshop is for you! The purpose of this workshop is to introduce Plein Air painting to people who are new to it!
Working in acrylics, with a limited colour palette, we will cover the basics in this crash course – from bug spray to beautiful results! You can do this! With some basic supplies, and some basics in composition, colour, and a few acrylic tricks, you’ll feel confident to get outdoors and paint! We will cover the essentials: How to pick your subject (and stick to it!), how to compose your painting using basic shapes, how to find the colour that you need, AND how to use quick-drying acrylic to your advantage outdoors. There’s a lot to learn, but we’ll keep it fun and stress-free! There’s nothing like painting in the outdoors!
